Community Service Officer Peter Scorsone
Officer Pete Scorsone has been a law enforcement professional since 1987. He transferred to the Webster Police Department from the Brockport Police department in February, 1997. He has been assigned to the Community Services Section since the summer of 2000. Officer Scorsone has been a Dare Officer since 2000, and assisted with bringing the Dare program to the Webster Central School District. The community services unit facilitates approximately 300 class room visits every school year. High School seniors routinely use Officer Scorsone & Officer Debra Hart to assist them with senior projects. Officer Scorsone & Officer Hart conducts car seat checks, facilitates neighborhood watch the student police camp, the senior citizen police academy, and the citizens police academy. These 3 citizen programs are offered every year free of charge. Officer Scorsone also oversees the “Making a Difference” program. Officer Scorsone is currently the president of the Webster Health & Education Network (WHEN). In addition to classroom presentations, our community services officers support Webster Schools and Webster in a number of ways.
