The Webster, New York, Police Department was established in 1928 and has been protecting and serving the Town and Village of Webster, seven days a week, 24 hours a day, ever since.We are proud and honored to serve the citizens of our community as we endeavor to keep Webster a place "Where life is worth living."The officers of the Webster Police Department are dedicated professionals who strive to maintain peace and security for residents and visitors.Please call us anytime, whether for a crime in progress, a service that needs rendering, or to discuss a concern you may have. We, in fact, rely upon your help to allow us to do our job.We are your "allies for a safe community."For emergencies and any police services, please call 911.If you are calling from outside of the Rochester NY area, you can reach the Webster Police Dispatcher through the Monroe County Emergency Communication Center at 585-428-6666.For administration and records, call 585-872-1216 between the hours of 8:30A.M. - 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday.
Webster Police Department's Mission Statement The primary mission for employees of the Webster Police Department is to serve the community of Webster and its people. We are called upon to enforce laws and ordinances passed by the representatives of these same people. The Department is committed to service and to taking positive steps to maintain our high standards in response to the community we serve. The principal goals of the Webster Police Department include: the protection of life and property; resolution of conflict; the creation and maintenance of a feeling of security in the community; reduction of opportunities for the commission of crime through crime prevention strategies; identification, apprehension, and prosecution of offenders and the preservation of the peace.
